Does Disneyland sell alcohol? Yes. Disneyland sells beer, wine, and cocktails, but how easy it is to find depends on the park. In Disneyland Park, it is only at a handful of sit-down restaurants and one bar, and you have to finish your drink there. Disney California Adventure has alcohol almost everywhere, and you can walk around with your drink.

I grew up going to Disneyland at least twice a year, and I have been having drinks in the parks for a long time now. A good drink can turn a regular park day into a really fun one. Disneyland used to be known as the park with no alcohol, so a lot of people still do not realize how many spots there are today. This guide covers every place I know of, including the private clubs, plus where to find the best craft cocktails. Menus and rules change, so check the official Disneyland dining page before you go. Everything here was checked in October 2026.
Does Disneyland Sell Alcohol? Where to Buy It in Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park is the more limited of the two parks. Alcohol is served at a few sit-down restaurants, one bar, and the private Club 33. In this park, you drink at the restaurant where you bought it, so think of these as places to stop, sit, and enjoy a drink instead of something to carry around. Important: the sit-down restaurants will not seat you at a table unless you are also dining. That means each person needs to order an entree, or a kid’s meal of some sort. They will not seat you just to have a drink, so plan on a meal if you want a drink at these spots. The one exception is Oga’s Cantina. It is a bar, and the only one of its kind in Disneyland Park, so you can stop in for a drink there without ordering a meal.
Oga’s Cantina (Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge)
Oga’s Cantina is the exception to the dining rule. It is a bar, and the only one of its kind in Disneyland Park, so you do not have to order a meal to get a drink. They do serve bites, but it is all about the drinks. It is a small, dark cantina with Star Wars creatures all around you, and it serves mixed drinks, beer, and wine. A lot of the drinks are pre-mixed, so I would go for the setting and the experience more than a serious cocktail. Reservations are recommended, and you can look for them in the Disneyland app.
Blue Bayou (New Orleans Square)
Blue Bayou is the famous restaurant that sits right inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, with fireflies and a glowing night sky over the water. It serves wine, beer, and a Hurricane cocktail. It is a sit-down meal, so it works best for a special dinner or lunch. Reservations can be hard to get, so book as soon as you can.
Carnation Cafe (Main Street, U.S.A.)
Carnation Cafe is my favorite spot in the park for real breakfast food, and it also serves wine, beer, and cocktails, like an Eggnog Old-Fashioned. Yes, that means you can have a Bloody Mary with your breakfast. If you cannot get a reservation, show up early and join the walk-up list. You will most likely get a table within about an hour. I shared more tips in my guide to what to eat at Disneyland.
River Belle Terrace (Frontierland)
River Belle Terrace is a relaxed spot on the Rivers of America. It serves wine, beer, and a Wildberry Mule. It is a nice place to sit in the shade and watch the Mark Twain Riverboat float by.
Cafe Orleans (New Orleans Square)
Cafe Orleans is a cozy patio spot that serves wine, beer, and a Bourbon Julep. Carnation Cafe, River Belle Terrace, and Cafe Orleans all started serving alcohol in September 2023.

Club 33 (New Orleans Square)
Club 33 is the private club hidden in New Orleans Square, and it is for members and their guests only, so you cannot just walk in. Inside, there is a beautiful lounge called Le Salon Nouveau, with a blue stained glass ceiling and a full bar. I have been to Club 33 at the Disneyland Resort multiple times, and the menu is great. It is fancier and pricier than anywhere else in the park. It also has its own cocktail menu, which you can see in the photo below. Want to know more about it? I wrote about it in Disney’s best kept secret.

Club 1901 at California Adventure
Club 33 has a sister spot over in Disney California Adventure called the 1901 Lounge. It is a private lounge tucked inside the Carthay Circle Restaurant, and it is also for members and their guests. It feels a little more casual than Club 33, but it is just as pretty. I have been to the 1901 Lounge multiple times too, and I love it. If you are ever lucky enough to get an invite, go.

Where to Buy Alcohol at Disney California Adventure
Here is the good news: California Adventure is a totally different story. Alcohol is pretty much available everywhere in this park, from sit-down lounges to quick kiosks, and you can walk around with your drink. There is one rule to know, which I cover below: you have to finish your drink before you get on any ride. Here is where to find it, by area:
- Buena Vista Street: Carthay Circle Lounge and Carthay Circle Restaurant, with signature cocktails, craft beer, and wine.
- Hollywood Land: Hollywood Lounge, a quick-serve kiosk with cocktails and micheladas, plus Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream, which has alcoholic floats.
- Pixar Pier: Lamplight Lounge, with handcrafted cocktails, beer on tap, and wine.
- Paradise Gardens Park: Bayside Brews, a quick-serve stand with craft beer, hard cider, and pomegranate margaritas.
- Cars Land: Flo’s V8 Cafe, with beer and margaritas, and the Cozy Cone Motel, with vodka lemonade and limeade.
- Grizzly Peak: Smokejumpers Grill, with craft beer, wine, and margaritas.
- Pacific Wharf: Mendocino Terrace, a patio wine bar, Rita’s Baja Blenders for frozen margaritas, and Pacific Wharf Distribution Co. for Karl Strauss beer. Nearby, Sonoma Terrace and Wine Country Trattoria are also good for wine.
- Avengers Campus: Pym Tasting Lab, with cocktails and beer cocktails that change often.

Spots, hours, and drinks change, and the Alfresco Tasting Terrace above Wine Country Trattoria has at times been reserved for annual passholders, so always check the Disneyland app. During the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, which usually runs from early March to late April, there are also festival booths with drinks all around the park.

Can You Walk Around Disneyland With a Drink?
It depends on the park. In Disneyland Park, you have to stay at the restaurant where you bought it. In Disney California Adventure, you can carry your drink around the park, which makes it so much easier to enjoy.
The one rule: you have to finish your drink before you get on any ride. Standing in a ride line with your drink is totally fine, so the queue is okay, but you cannot take it onto the ride itself. Plan to finish it right before you board, or toss it before you load.
My favorite thing to do: grab a drink right before hopping in a long line for a ride. It makes the wait so much more fun sometimes, and the time goes by way faster. Just know how long the line is, so you can finish your drink by the time you reach the front.

Best Craft Cocktails at Disneyland
If you want a real cocktail instead of a quick beer or margarita, these are the spots to know. A heads up for the cocktail fans: most of the craft cocktails at Disneyland are batched, so do not count on substitutions or changes to the recipe. Order the drink as it is on the menu.
Lamplight Lounge (Pixar Pier): My Favorite
Lamplight Lounge is my personal favorite place to stop in the whole resort. I love to sit, relax, and have a nice martini or cocktail while looking out at the water of Paradise Bay and Pixar Pier. It is also so much fun to watch the roller coaster launch from here, because the Incredicoaster zooms right past you. The food is great too, and the lobster nachos are the dish everyone talks about. Cocktails have a Pixar-themed touch, and some come out bubbling or with a fun presentation. Guides say the downstairs patio takes reservations and the upstairs outdoor lounge is first come, first served, so check the Lamplight Lounge page for current details.

Carthay Circle Lounge (Buena Vista Street)
Carthay Circle Lounge is a fancy, old Hollywood style bar attached to Carthay Circle Restaurant. The drinks are hand-mixed, and the menu has fun touches like custom ice. Guides often call the Carthay Manhattan a favorite, and walk-ins are usually welcome at the lounge. It is a great spot for a classic cocktail before a nice dinner.

Hollywood Lounge (Hollywood Land)
Hollywood Lounge is a quick kiosk with themed cocktails like Cosmic Cocktails, plus micheladas and seasonal drinks. It is easy to grab and walk with, which makes it a good pick when you are on the move.
Trader Sam’s (Disneyland Hotel)
Just outside the parks at the Disneyland Hotel, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is a tiny tiki bar with fun, theatrical rum drinks. It is popular and small, so it can be hard to get a seat. This is a not-so-hidden gem, highly recommend making Trader Sam’s part of your itinerary if you are into really cool bar experiences, don’t have kids with you, and love extremely detailed places. There is a walk-up list: you just walk over to Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Hotel and add your name. Trust me, it is worth it, and the wait goes by fast. Try to sit inside if you can, because the staff and the whole room come alive depending on which drink a guest inside the room orders. It is a spectacle for each drink, and it is so much fun. If you can only get outside seating, the drinks are still worth it and handcrafted, but make sure you check out the inside and at least see it before you leave.
