Wondering what to eat at Disneyland? Start with a Bengal Barbecue pork belly skewer, a warm churro, and a Dole Whip. Those three are classics for a reason. In this guide I’ll share the best Disneyland food and snacks for 2026, what they cost, and where to find them in both parks.
I grew up going to Disneyland at least twice a year, so the food here feels like home to me. Menus and prices change a lot, so I checked the current menus before writing this. Let’s eat!

What to Eat at Disneyland: My Quick List
Short on time? Here are the must-try foods at Disneyland Resort right now:
- Bengal Barbecue skewers in Adventureland (about $7 to $8 each)
- Garlic naan at Bengal Barbecue ($5.79)
- A warm churro from any churro cart ($6.25 for a classic)
- Dole Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland
- Mickey beignets at the Mint Julep Bar in New Orleans Square
- A soup bread bowl at Harbour Galley in Critter Country
- Chili Cone Queso at Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land
- Lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier
Bengal Barbecue: The Best Quick Bite at Disneyland
Bengal Barbecue is a small counter in Adventureland, right across from the Jungle Cruise. It sells meat and veggie skewers that are hot, filling, and easy to eat while you walk.
Bengal Barbecue is definitely one of my favorites. I went in October 2026 and got the pork belly and asparagus skewer, the garlic naan, and an Iced Pandan Cooler. It was absolutely delicious! My best tip: put the pork belly inside the garlic naan like a little taco. Trust me, it’s even better that way.

Here’s what’s on the Bengal Barbecue menu right now and what it costs:
- Pork and Vegetable Skewer: $7.29
- Chicken Teriyaki Skewer: $6.99
- Banyan Beef or Bengal Beef Skewer: $7.99
- Bengal Rice Plate with two skewers: $19.99
- Garlic Naan with herb butter: $5.79
- Iced Pandan Cooler with brown sugar popping spheres and ube cream: $7.99
Prices were checked in October 2026 and can change. The skewers are a great deal for Disneyland, and two of them plus naan make a real meal.
Disneyland Churros: Warm, Crispy and Worth It
Fun fact: the warm churros at Disneyland are way better than the churros at Disney World. I will stand by that one forever! Get one fresh and warm from a cart, and you’ll see what I mean. Heading to Florida too? Here are the best snacks in Magic Kingdom so you can compare.

A classic cinnamon sugar churro costs $6.25 as of October 2026. That’s up from $5.75 after a price increase in July 2026. Specialty churros cost about $7 to $7.75.
Churro carts are all over both parks, and the specialty flavors change with the seasons. During Halloween Time, look for the Churro Hand Tart. It’s one of the most talked about treats this fall.
Where to Get Dole Whip at Disneyland
You can get Dole Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar in Adventureland, right by the Enchanted Tiki Room. It’s a pineapple soft serve that’s cold, creamy, and perfect on a hot day. The line can get long, so use mobile order in the Disneyland app to skip it.
Want a Dole Whip with a grown-up twist? Trader Sam’s at the Disneyland Hotel also serves it outside the parks.
Classic Disneyland Snacks You Can’t Skip
Some Disneyland snacks have been fan favorites for years. Here are the ones people line up for again and again:
- Mickey ice cream bar: a simple classic, and it makes a cute castle photo.
- Mickey beignets: fried dough covered in powdered sugar at the Mint Julep Bar. During Halloween Time, there’s a pumpkin version.
- Mickey waffles: the most famous Disney breakfast. You’ll find them at several table service and quick service spots.
- Soup in a bread bowl: a cozy pick when the weather turns cool.
Best Breakfast at Disneyland: Carnation Cafe
If you like real breakfast food in the park, Carnation Cafe on Main Street is my favorite. It’s a sit-down spot with Mickey waffles and classic breakfast plates. Reservations are hard to get, but here’s my trick: show up early and join their walk-up list. You’ll most likely get lucky with a table within an hour of checking in.

Best Sit-Down Restaurants at Disneyland
Here’s a little secret: some of the best food at Disneyland is at the sit-down restaurants. Snacks are fun, but a table service meal gives you a cool seat, a break from the crowds, and food that’s a real step up. Book in the Disneyland app about 60 days ahead, or join a walk-up list on the day.
Disneyland Park
- Blue Bayou: dinner inside Pirates of the Caribbean, under a twinkling night sky. It’s the hardest reservation to get.
- Cafe Orleans: New Orleans Square spot famous for its Monte Cristo sandwich.
- Carnation Cafe: Main Street classic and my favorite for breakfast.
- River Belle Terrace: Southern food with a patio view of the Mark Twain riverboat.
- Oga’s Cantina: the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lounge for fun drinks and small bites.
Disney California Adventure
- Carthay Circle Restaurant: upscale California dining inside the park’s icon building.
- Carthay Circle Lounge: small plates and cocktails on the same block.
- Lamplight Lounge: Pixar Pier views and the famous lobster nachos.
- Wine Country Trattoria: Italian food, and one of the easiest walk-up lists in the app.
Downtown Disney and the Hotels
Don’t forget the spots outside the parks. Downtown Disney has Paseo (upscale Mexican), Centrico, Din Tai Fung, Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby, Naples Ristorante e Bar, Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill and Patio, Ballast Point, and Splitsville. Over at the hotels, you’ll find Napa Rose at the Grand Californian, Great Maple at the Pixar Place Hotel, and character buffets at Goofy’s Kitchen and Storytellers Cafe.
Club 33 and Club 1901
Club 33 in New Orleans Square and Club 1901 in Disney California Adventure both have a great menu. They’re definitely a little fancier and pricier, though. Both are private clubs, so you can only get in as a member or as a member’s guest.
Best Comfort Food at Disneyland Park
When you want a real meal, a bread bowl is hard to beat. Harbour Galley in Critter Country is known for soup in a sourdough bread bowl, and it’s a great pick for a cool evening.

Bread bowl flavors change, so check the menu in the Disneyland app before you go. Grab a table near the water if you can.
Best Food at Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure has some of the best food at the whole resort. Here are the top picks:
- Lobster nachos at Lamplight Lounge: probably the most famous dish in the park. The view of Pixar Pier is a big bonus.
- Chili Cone Queso at Cozy Cone Motel: chili and queso in a bread cone, made for eating on the go in Cars Land.
- Cocktails with a view: adults can sip a drink while watching the Incredicoaster zoom by.

Lamplight Lounge is popular, so book a reservation or join the waitlist early in the day.
Seasonal Disneyland Food Trends for 2026
Disneyland food changes with every season, and that’s half the fun. Right now, Halloween Time brings pumpkin beignets, fall drinks, festive cookies, and new churro flavors. Once the holidays start, look for gingerbread treats, peppermint snacks, and holiday cookies all over both parks. Wondering when the holiday treats show up? Here’s when Disneyland decorates for Christmas.
Not every new item is a winner, though. Some reviewers have said to skip the Ube Cheesecake Churro this year, so stick with the classics if you only have room for one treat.
Going over the holiday? Here’s whether Disneyland is open on Thanksgiving, plus where to find a turkey dinner in the parks.
Tips for Eating at Disneyland
- Use mobile order. Order in the Disneyland app and skip long lines at quick service spots.
- Share snacks. Splitting treats lets you try more things without getting too full.
- Eat at off times. Lunch before 11 a.m. or after 2 p.m. means shorter lines.
- Bring snacks from home. Disneyland allows outside food, so pack water and easy snacks to save money.
- Check the menus first. See current menus on the official Disneyland dining page before your trip.
