About Me

Hi, I’m Jillian, the creator of Travel With Jill and a Disney travel expert who loves making Disney vacations easier to plan.

Disney planning can get overwhelming fast. Between choosing the right resort, understanding Lightning Lane, comparing ticket options, making reservations, and figuring out how to actually spend your days in the parks, there’s a lot to know.

My guides are built around firsthand experience, careful research, and the things I’ve learned from years of visiting and planning Disney trips myself. I break everything down in a simple, realistic way so you can understand your options, spend your money wisely, and plan a Disney vacation you’ll actually enjoy.

Why I Started Travel With Jill

I’ve always been the person who researches the details before a trip, especially when it comes to Disney. I want to know which resort is actually worth the money, which rides to prioritize, how to avoid wasting time, and which upgrades are genuinely worth paying for.

After years of visiting Disney parks and planning my own trips, I realized how unnecessarily complicated Disney vacation planning can feel, especially for someone going for the first time. I started Travel With Jill to make that process easier.

I’ve visited Disneyland more than 100 times, traveled to Walt Disney World many times, stayed at resorts across different Disney resort categories, and personally used the transportation, Lightning Lane systems, Early Entry, dining reservations, and other strategies I write about. My goal isn’t to tell you that every Disney experience is amazing. It’s to help you figure out what’s actually worth it for your trip.

What You’ll Find on Travel With Jill

Travel With Jill is all about making Disney vacation planning easier. I create straightforward guides that answer the questions people actually have when planning a trip, without making things more complicated than they need to be.

You’ll find help choosing the right Disney resort, understanding tickets and Lightning Lane, deciding when to visit, finding ways to save money, planning your park days, and figuring out which Disney experiences are actually worth paying for.

I currently cover Walt Disney World extensively, with Disneyland guides coming next. Disneyland is especially close to my heart. I’ve visited more than 100 times, so I’m excited to share everything I’ve learned from experiencing the parks over and over again.

My goal is simple: help you spend less time researching Disney and more time looking forward to your trip.

The Kind of Travel Advice I Believe In

Whenever I travel somewhere new, one of the first things I want to know is what the locals recommend. Where do they actually eat? What is worth doing? What would they skip? I’ve always believed that some of the best travel advice comes from people who genuinely know a destination, not just someone who visited once and made a list.

Over time, I realized that’s exactly what I have with Disney.

I’ve taken friends to Disney who had no idea how much fun they could actually have there. Because I already knew how to navigate the parks, what to prioritize, what was worth the money, and how to make the day flow without feeling stressful, they were able to just enjoy it. Watching friends have a completely different Disney experience than they expected made me realize how valuable that kind of firsthand knowledge really is.

That’s what I want Travel With Jill to feel like. I want my Disney guides to feel like you’re getting advice from the friend who already knows the parks, has figured out the complicated parts, and can tell you what’s actually worth your time and money.

And as Travel With Jill grows beyond Disney, I want to bring that same philosophy everywhere I travel: firsthand experiences when I have them, local insight whenever I can find it, and practical recommendations that help you experience a destination better.
