The best shows at EPCOT are the Luminous: The Symphony of Us nighttime show and Voices of Liberty. If you have more time, add The American Adventure, Matsuriza, and Sergio. Almost every show here is worth it if you have the time, so this guide will help you pick.
Here’s the honest answer to “are the shows at EPCOT worth it?” Yes, if you have time. They’re all good in their own ways. The hard part is time. It takes time to plan and walk to a show if you’re not close by, and then many shows are 10 to 30 minutes long. If you’re mostly there for rides, you can skip some of them. There’s so much to do and so little time sometimes.
I’ve seen most of the shows on this list myself. Below, I’ll tell you which ones I loved, which ones are just okay, and which ones you can skip.

The Best Shows at EPCOT
1. Luminous: The Symphony of Us (Nighttime Show)
This is one of my two favorites at EPCOT, and I give it a 10 out of 10. I recommend it for all ages. It’s a different kind of fireworks show, and it almost feels inspiring.
The fireworks shoot up into the sky, and they’re very grand and gorgeous. They also shoot outwards. On top of that, there are water fountains going during the whole show, kind of like the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The fountains are a big part of it. Spaceship Earth glistens and lights up in the background too, and the lights and lasers add so much to the production. It’s so much more than fireworks. It’s truly magical.

Disney describes Luminous: The Symphony of Us as a pageant of fireworks, fountains, music, and lights, with Disney songs. It’s about 17 to 18 minutes long, and it shows at 9 PM on the World Showcase Lagoon. We stood at the edge of the water at the Japan pavilion to watch it.

Show times can change, so check the My Disney Experience app for the schedule. It’s an outdoor show, so bad weather can affect it.
2. Voices of Liberty
Voices of Liberty is my other favorite, and I give it a 9 out of 10. I’d take any first-timer here. This group sings a cappella, and their voices are so amazing. It’s like going to a 15-minute Broadway show up close and personal.
They perform in the rotunda of the USA pavilion, and the acoustics in there are phenomenal. It’s indoors and you can sit, so it’s also a really good break spot. Disney lists Voices of Liberty shows around 11:15 AM, 12:00 PM, and 12:45 PM, but times can change, so check the app. You don’t need to show up early. Just be on time.

3. The American Adventure
If I had to pick between this and Voices of Liberty, I’d pick Voices of Liberty. Both are in the USA pavilion. But any show with 35 Audio-Animatronics figures can be amazing. The American Adventure took Disney Imagineers 5 years to finish, and that’s very impressive.
The show is about 30 minutes long, and you watch it indoors in a theater. Disney says it covers moments like the Mayflower, the Boston Tea Party, and the Civil War. If American history doesn’t interest you at all, you can probably skip this one.
4. Matsuriza
This one is so good! Matsuriza is a group of Japanese taiko drummers at the Japan pavilion, and the show is about 15 minutes. I like to watch them while I take a sitting break, and I usually grab a Japanese snack while they perform. It’s super fun.
5. Sergio
Sergio performs at the Italy pavilion, and his show is about 20 minutes. It’s a great pick if you want a break from walking, a good laugh, and something wholesome. It’s raw talent.

6. Awesome Planet
Awesome Planet is a stunning 10-minute film in The Land pavilion. I like it because it has a call to action to protect our Earth, and Earth is beautiful. The effects they use, like wind and water, are cool too. But you can skip this one unless you’re in the area and have the time.
More EPCOT Shows Worth Knowing About
Canada Far and Wide
Canada Far and Wide is a 12-minute film in Circle-Vision 360. It’s fun and beautiful, and the north is stunning. If you have time and you’ve never been to Canada, this one is cool.

Reflections of China
Reflections of China is a 12-minute film in the China pavilion. It’s kind of fun if you like all things Asia.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along
This one is great for kids. The Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is a 15-minute film in the France pavilion, with songs like Be Our Guest and Gaston that you can sing along to. It’s indoors, and you sit down.
Acrobatico!
If you’re in the France pavilion, this one is fun. Acrobatico! is a 15-minute street show with a balancing act. If you like circus acts, it’s worth it.

Canada Mill Stage
If you like folk music and lore, the Canada Mill Stage is great. The bands change. In October 2026, Disney lists Suroit through October 18, then Cormier & Friends from October 21 to November 22. All entertainment offerings are subject to change.
Oktoberfest Musikanten
This one is not my thing, but it’s fun if you like German culture. It’s a German band that plays at the Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany pavilion.

Impressions de France
I haven’t seen this one yet, so I can’t tell you what I think. Impressions de France is an 18-minute film in the France pavilion, and it’s been playing since EPCOT opened in 1982. It reopened in May 2026 after a refurbishment.
Eat to the Beat Concerts
I haven’t seen this one yet either. The Eat to the Beat concerts happen during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. In 2026, they run nightly from August 27 to November 16 at America Gardens Theatre, with shows at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 PM. The bands change often, so check Disney’s schedule.
Candlelight Processional
I haven’t seen this one yet. It’s a holiday show that only happens during the holiday season, and the Voices of Liberty perform in it.
Which EPCOT Shows Are Indoors?
A lot of the shows at EPCOT are inside, so they’re good breaks from the walking. Here’s the quick list:
- Indoors: Voices of Liberty, The American Adventure, Awesome Planet, Canada Far and Wide, Reflections of China, Impressions de France, and the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along.
- Outdoors: Luminous, Matsuriza, Sergio, Acrobatico!, the Canada Mill Stage, and the Eat to the Beat concerts.
- In a restaurant: Oktoberfest Musikanten plays at the Biergarten Restaurant.
- Best break spot: Voices of Liberty, because it’s indoors and you can sit.
Which EPCOT Shows Should You Skip?
You don’t have to see everything. Here’s how I’d decide:
- Short on time? Do Luminous and Voices of Liberty.
- Mostly there for the rides? You can skip most of the films and live acts.
- Not into American history? Skip The American Adventure.
- Not near The Land? Skip Awesome Planet.
- Not into German culture? Skip Oktoberfest Musikanten.
- Want a break from walking? Try Voices of Liberty, Matsuriza, or Sergio.
How to Plan Your Day Around the Shows
- Check show times when you get to the park. Open the My Disney Experience app or the EPCOT entertainment page, because times and show lineups change.
- Plan for the walking. The pavilions are spread out, so it takes time to get to a show if you’re not close by.
- You don’t need to show up early. Just be on time.
- Add shows to your plan. In my 3-2-1 rule, two of your three experiences each day can be shows, parades, or character greetings.
- Go when it’s quieter. See the best time to visit Disney World.
